About Us
- PTSA funds Staff Requests to enhance our students’ experience at the school, in the classroom and as members of clubs here at the Hive.
- PTSA awards Senior Scholarships to qualifying, graduating seniors who apply.
- PTSA sponsors a National PTA Arts Program, Reflections, allowing our students to be recognized for their imagination and creativity as embodied in their original works of art.
- PTSA invites Speakers to join our meetings to offer important information to our community on hot topics, such as the college applications experience, A-G requirements, the availability of mental health resources and the dangers of vaping. Our Principal also attends all of our meetings to update us on the progress of the school year and to answer any questions.

We invite you to join us for our quarterly Meetings, each of which is paired with a different Speaker from our Speaker Series. As we select Speakers for our Speaker Series, email us with the topics you would like to see addressed.
Senior Scholarships
In 2023, Oxnard High PTSA was honored to award five seniors with scholarships. These impressive OHS scholars contributed in meaningful ways to our school and our community. They showed personal growth during their high school year, demonstrating both leadership and teamwork in clubs, sports, community service, and in support of their fellow classmates.

PTSA awards scholarships to seniors who are current members of PTSA who have been members for at least two years. Applications go out each year in January for seniors to apply and additional requirements are set forth in the application. Students can sign up for the 2023-2024 school year if membership dues are paid before May 31st, 2023. See the link above to join PTSA or pick up an envelope from the front office. The envelope can be returned to the front office or to Ms. Stephanie Almstrom in The Hive Wellness Center
Reflections
We encourage all our aspiring artists to consider participating this year. To learn more about the PTA Reflections program and the rules for participating, check out the flyer below. Then get started creating your piece inspired by the theme for 2023-2024, "I am Hopeful Because...". All submissions are due by October 20th, 2023.
