Dual Enrollment Process For High School Students:
- The student will contact his/her counselor to discuss dual enrollment classes. Please visit your school’s website, hover over the “Academics” tab, and click on “Counseling”, to find the counselor’s contact information.
- The student’s counselor will review the student’s transcript and make a recommendation on the course he/she should take.
- The counselor will complete the RECOMMENDATION FOR DUAL ENROLLMENT (K-12) & MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING form and will return it to the student.
- The student will register and enroll using the links below to establish a MyVCCCD portal account.
- The student and parent will sign the RECOMMENDATION FOR DUAL ENROLLMENT (K-12) & MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING form and upload it to his/her MyVCCCD portal.

|OHS: PLS R101: Paralegal Fundamentals||Spring 2021||This course explores the legal system including basic legal terminology, sources of law, legal reasoning, federalism, court structure, the rules of procedure, and ethical standards for lawyers and legal assistants. This course includes substantive introduction to the law of contracts, torts, crimes, common law, and the U.S. Constitution. Field trips may be required. Course Corequisites: NONE|
|CHST R101: Intor to Chicano/a Studies||Fall 2020||This is an introductory interdisciplinary course designed to familiarize students with various historical, cultural, sociological, and political issues affecting the Chicana/o experience in the United States. The course introduces students to research and publications in related disciplines and familiarizes them with the interdisciplinary aspects of Chicano/o studies. The course also includes themes and methodologies from related disciplines (history, anthropology, sociology, the arts and sciences, psychology, and political science). Transfer credit: CSU;UC.|
