Student Section:

Prom and Grad nite ticket sales start on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. In order to purchase Prom or Grad nite tickets, all debts must be cleared. Per Mr. Luoma– your attendance and tardies must meet the attendance eligibility (90% overall attendance and fewer than 10 tardies this quarter) and you must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. If you have any questions regarding your attendance or tardies, please see Mr. Luoma or the Attendance Advisor. If you need to know if you owe for a library or textbook, please see Mr. Banuelos in the Library or Textbook room.

April 10th is MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY.  If you’re looking for volunteer opportunities there will be many organizations providing information.  Join us in the quad and find an organization that can help you make a difference.

Ready to ignite your love of reading and writing? Go beyond traditional, academic writing and dive deep into your creative space and cultivate your voice by joining the summer school course “Creative Writing: Introduction to Storytelling.” This course runs from July 1 through July 26, Monday through Thursday from 1:30-3:30 pm. California Community Foundation Scholarship applications are available at the front office and are due back to Ms. Rodriguez by April 15th, 2019? For more information regarding this scholarship, speak with Ms. Rodriguez.

Clubs/ Organizations:

Everyone Counts Club is having their second meeting on Tuesday, April 2nd. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of our special needs students, please come to B111 at lunch.

After school: Paletas, chips, soda, candy, and Girl Scout cookies are being sold after school in L-101. Make sure your wrappers and waste gets into a trash can or recycle bin!

CSF is hosting a trip to see Les Miserables at the Pantages May 29th. Pre-orders are on sale now for $70. After March 28th, ticket prices will increase to $75. See Mr. Mostowa in K135 for more details.
