Ready to ignite your love of reading and writing? Go beyond traditional, academic writing and dive deep into your creative space and cultivate your voice by joining the summer school course “Creative Writing: Introduction to Storytelling.” This course runs from July 1 through July 26, Monday through Thursday from 1:30-3:30 pm. You can now order their AP exams from the ASB bookkeeper. The deadline is March 22, 2019. You can get all the necessary forms from t AP teachers.

Clubs/ Organizations:

Peer Resource is hosting a blood drive with the American Red Cross on Thursday, March 21st. Register in room B107 or using any of the QR codes on the promotional posters around campus. Sixteen-year-old donors must pick up a consent form in B107.

Thank you to all 69 players who signed up for the Video Game Club’s inaugural Video Game Tournament. The Featured Game is the Nintendo Switch’s Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. The brackets are set. you may come to room E-111 to get a copy of the bracket or look out for the large brackets throughout campus. The matches are single elimination. So please get your lunch ASAP, and then head out to your match room. The tournament will be held during lunch from 3-19 to 3-29 in rooms E-104 and E-111. Please see Mr. Reyes in Room E-111 for further questions.

Tuesday, March 19th, Everyone Counts Club will have their first meeting. If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of our special needs students, please come to B111 at lunch.

The Music Department is selling Ice cream, Paletas, Chips, Soda, and Candy after school today.

Any student interested in participating in the Historically Black Colleges & Universities tour in April 13 – 20, please see Mrs. Baylor as soon as possible for more information.

College and career center:

The District Career Fair is on March 22.  Sophomores – Seniors grades are encouraged to participate.  Permission forms are available in the College & Career Center.  Space is limited so return your permission forms early to guarantee your participation.


Cheer tryouts: April 1-5 from 4 to 6 PM
