Student Section:

Looking for community service credit? We’re in need of volunteers to help out with Santa to the Sea Half Marathon / 5K event on Sunday, December 9. Volunteer shifts begin at 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. or 10:30 am. to 3 p.m. Looking for volunteer student groups of 10 or more. Contact Caroline Paras at caroline2volunteers@gmail.com to sign up or for more information.

Our first Student Council will take place today in the PAC during 3rd period. If anyone is interested in representing your 3rd period class, please inform your teacher and join us at the PAC to discuss topics of concern and to provide feedback of how we can make OHS an even more positive and safe place to be at

*Homework Center is open Monday-Thursday after school until 4:30 pm.

CLUBS/ ORGANIZATIONS:

Comedy Club meeting will be today at lunch room F106.

Photography Club is meeting on Monday 12/3 at lunch in K117 and again on 12/14 at the tennis courts for our annual Club photo.

Join Earthbound Club on our next Anacapa Restoration Field Trip on Friday, December 21! You do not have to be a member of Earthbound to attend. First come, first served, so get your paperwork in as soon as possible! All forms are due to Mrs. Johnson by December 14. See Mrs. Johnson in E-218 for details.

Do you want a better night’s sleep? The Music Department will be having a Mattress Sale on December 1, 2018 in the Small Gym. They are all new and come with a factory warrantee. See a Music Department student or Mr. Spence for details

Boys’ and Girls’ Swim Team informational meeting Tuesday, Dec. 4 at lunch in room P15. Anyone interested must have a positive attitude and be ready for hard work!

All returning golfers as well as those interested in trying out for the team have a mandatory meeting at lunch on Thursday, December 6th in room P-7
