FAFSA Night 

 On Thursday, November 8th Oxnard High School seniors were busy with their college applications and knew how important it is to apply for financial aid early.  Parents and students were given the opportunity to get help provided by the Oxnard College Financial Aid office.  FAFSA and DREAMACT assistance was provided in both English and Spanish and over 35 students and their families were served.  Mrs. Henchy, Mrs. Brickey, and Mrs. Baylor were on board offering their support and assistance.  The next financial aid workshop is scheduled for 12/6, 6:00PM – 8:00PM.  

Dia De Los Muertos 

OHS celebrated its “Dia de Los Muertos’ celebration on Thursday, November 1st and Friday, November 2nd.  A number of activities took place during lunch, such as Loteria, an altar where students and staff could participate in , ballet folklorico, and mariachi performed.  A special thanks to the staff who helped create such a beautiful and colorful event-Dr. Chavez, Ms. Tanner, Ms. Magana, and Ms. Alarcon.  A special thank you to the art students, MECHA, the Migrant Club and ASB for hosting and decorating the event!
