About the Industrial Arts Department
We believe that industrial technology is an identifiable, integral, and continuing component of a quality, comprehensive system of education. Industrial Technology enriches and utilizes other curricular areas such as mathematics, science, and the arts. The discipline brings theory and practice closer together through illustrations and practical examples which are industrial in nature. We also believe that industrial technology helps young people discover and develop personal aptitudes, interests, abilities, self-reliance, judgment and resourcefulness through problem-solving and self-expression in an industrial environment.
